You spoke and we listened: we have completely revamped the Blog Friends facebook profile box along the lines of my post “Like a virtual iPod for blogs“.
The profile box is now focused on showcasing not only your own posts (if you blog) but also your favourite posts and favourite bloggers’ posts. The River, on the other hand, is where you now go to follow both your favourites and to find new great bloggers and posts.
Showcase and social discovery zone; horses for courses.

A great addition for sure, thanks for the work on it. Just a few things that seem like must haves:
-if you don’t want the clutter of others’ blogs on your profile, like it seemed was available when i started this yesterday, it will probably be the make or break thing for me to be able to only have my blog show up
-people have got to be able to post comments, and/or easily get to your actual blog site, as it doesn’t seem like there’s any way to do that right now, no links, etc.

Taking your points in turn:
- You can indeed control whether others’ blogs show up in your Settings (”customise” link in the profile box).
- There is an external link in the title of the blog post preview, with an extra “external link” icon next to it. Maybe we need to be even clearer?
